Operational data group “Information Resistance”

The Russian occupation forces in the Donbas continue to shell the positions of JF units and the settlements located near the line of demarcation. During the week, the average daily number of attacks reached 10-12 attacks. At the same time, the occupants mainly use automatic rifle armaments, large-caliber machine guns, heavy and hand-held grenade launchers, occasionally 82-mm and 120-mm mortars, anti-aircraft guns of the ZU-23-2 type, 100-mm and 122-mm cannon artillery and 122-mm MLRS “Grad-P”. The total number of cases of the use of weapons prohibited by the provisions of the Minsk Agreements by the invaders has increased relative to the previous week period.

The main areas of fire activity of the occupants are: the area between the settlements Novotoshkovka – Krymskoe – Sokolniki, Popasnaya and Pervomaisk district, the southern part of Svetlodarsk “arc”, as well as the areas south of Svetlodarsk and Novoluganskoe, the north-western outskirts of Gorlovka and Donetsk, and Mariupol direction, site from Pavlopol and to the coast. Occasionally, the enemy opened fire on the positions of the JF units in the area of Marinka, Peski, Avdiivka, Mayorsk, Zaytsevo and Dokuchaevsk.

At a number of sites, the regrouping of separate units of the occupation forces, improvement of positions in engineering and reinforcement with additional firing means continues to be recorded.

The enemy continues to conduct active reconnaissance and sabotage activities in the neutral zone, actively using snipers. These tasks are performed by specially trained groups that have completed a specialized training course directly at the grounds of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps. If earlier it was possible to talk about individual snipers, now they are used by the command of the invaders in groups and in cooperation with other fire weapons.

Also, the enemy continues to actively use technical means for conducting reconnaissance – ELINT equipment, optoelectronic devices and UAVs. The work of the optical-electronic stations of the enemy in combination with firing means is recorded immediately at several sites.

The command of the invaders intimidates the residents of Gorlovka and the personnel of the 3rd separate mechanized brigade (1st Army Corps “DPR”) with messages of the arrival in the area of this settlement “a special punitive unit” from the “Azov” regiment with armored vehicles. In addition, the “intelligence” of the invaders reports that in the area of Gorlovka there is a kind of “unit of Ukrainian SOF,” specially trained to “capture prisoners” from the frontline units of the occupation forces. Obviously, by spreading such information, the command of the invaders is trying to increase the vigilance of the units of its 3rd separate mechanized brigade and fight with alcohol abuse at the forefront.
