Operational data of the group “Information Resistance”
Over the last week period, the intensity of fire strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements on the territory controlled by Ukraine has decreased. In total, units of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational group of the Russian occupation forces in the Donbass region carried out about 135 fire raids (in the past week about 160) from 82/120-mm mortars, 122 mm portable grenade launchers Grad-P, BMPs and tanks. The most intense fire strikes were inflicted on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the vicinity of settlements: Avdeevka, Krymskoe, Prichepilovka, Luganskoye, Svetlodarsk, Talakovka, Novoaleksandrovka, Peski, Pavlopol, Zaitsevo, Lebedinskoe, Gnutovo, Vodyanoe and Shirokino.
Using the next regime of fire-stopping, the enemy continues to carry out intensive works to improve the engineering equipment of his advanced positions, to conduct reconnaissance, and also to set up new mine-blasting obstacles along the entire line of contact.
Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the enemy was forced to reduce the intensity of conducting aerial reconnaissance. In the period from July 17 to 23 this year, there were 20 reconnaissance flights of the UAV of the RF Armed Forces, including 12 flights of the Granat-2 UAV and 8 flights of the Orlan-10 UAVs, which were conducted with a flight into the operational-tactical depth of the defense of the Joint forces.
Within the summer period of training, according to the unified plan of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation, units of the occupation forces conducted fire and tactical training at the “Pokrovsky”, “Tsentralniy”, “Predovoy” and “Vostochny” military ranges, and at the “Udaloy” training area, tactical exercises were conducted to develop offensive combat skills and to organize interaction between units during the conduct of offensive operations.
Particular attention is drawn to the identification of anti-personnel mine fields in Mariupol direction, where antipersonnel mines PMN-2 were installed. It should be noted that, in accordance with the international obligations assumed by Ukraine (based on the Ottawa treaty / Convention of 18 September 1997 about the banning of anti-personnel mines), all anti-personnel mines of the PMN type in Ukraine were destroyed in 1999. The armed forces of Ukraine do not use this type of mines and they are not in storage.
In the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, the Russian occupation command continues to carry out activities aimed at forming the so-called “Mobilization reserve”. “Military commissariats” of the occupants carry out a massive check of the personal data among the male population aged 18 to 55 years. At the same time, the population is informed about “criminal liability for evading of military service”.
To support the activities of units of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupation forces, about 850 tons of fuel (railway station Ilovaysk) was delivered from the territory of Russia during the last week period.
The social tension is increasing among the inhabitants of Torez, Yenakiyevo, Gorlovka and a number of others in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region because of the low wages of workers in the public sector, where the average wage is 5-7 thousand rubles. In this regard, local residents repeatedly appealed to trade union organizations and occupation authorities with demands for higher wages, but received and receive a response that this situation cannot be resolved because of a lack of funds. At the same time, social assistance in the form of food and basic necessities is provided only to disabled people and single mothers. This situation forces the working part of the population to join to the ranks of the “1st Army Corps DNR”, which is actively supported by the occupation authorities.
