Operational data of the group “Information Resistance”
In the last week period, the enemy did not cease to conduct fire strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements on the territory controlled by Ukraine. The most intense fire strikes were inflicted on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the populated areas Popasnaya, Krymskoe, Katerinovka, Novoaleksandrovka, Troitskoe, Luganskoye, Zaitsevo, Novgorodskoe, Novoselovka, Peski, Mikhailovka, Nevelskoye, Opytnoe, Avdeevka, Butovka mine, Vodyanoe, Nikolaevka Novotroitskoe, Talakovka, Gnutovo, Lebedinskoe and Shirokino.
Also, the enemy continued to conduct active reconnaissance of the combat orders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. About 20 reconnaissance flights of the Russian Armed Forces UAVs were recorded in the week-long period, including 6 flights of the UAV Orlan-10, which entered into the operational-tactical depth of the Ukrainian Armed Forces defense. At the same time, the enemy focused on the opening of the control system, as well as the identification of changes in the combat order of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
A comprehensive inspection for the winter period of training (started on April 9 this year) continues in units and subunits of “1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupation forces”, within the framework of which control exercises conducted on arms, tactical and special training at the military ranges “Yuzhniy”, “Tsentralniy”, “Slavniy”, “Udarniy”, “Peredovoy” and ” Primorsky “. In addition, the Russian occupation command conducts command and staff exercises with the command and control departments of “1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupation forces”, demonstration brigade exercises at the training ground “Yuzhniy”, as well as control artillery firing at the training range “Peredovoy” from 23 to 29 April this year. At the “Udarniy” training ground, the second stage of the training of reservists continues, as well as training on arms, tactical and special training with them.
To ensure the terrorist activity of units of “1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational group of Russian occupation forces”, about 1,200 tons of fuels were delivered to the railway station Rovenky from the territory of Russia in a week-long period. At the same time, occupiers accumulate rolling stock at the railway station Krasnaya Mogila, about 55 rail tank cars of various capacities and about 40 wagons and platforms are noted. The reason for the accumulation of a mobile railroad train is currently unknown.
According to the IR information, the units of the 45th Separate Special Forces Brigade of the RF Armed Forces will be sent to the territory of the “DNR” and “LNR” (the place of permanent deployment is Kubinka, Odintsovo District, Moscow Region, the Brigade Commander- Colonel Pankov Vadim Ivanovich) and the 11th separate Airborne brigade of the RF Armed Forces (the place of permanent deployment – Ulan-Ude, the Republic of Buryatia, the commander of the brigade – the Colonel Evdokimov Ruslan Leontievich) in the near future.
The personnel of these separate units from the above mentioned brigades will consist of the most professional and trained servicemen with significant experience in combat operations, namely, at least two missions to the war zone. The main task of these separate units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is to provoke the units of Ukrainian Armed Forces for offensive actions and advances deep into the territory of the “LNR” by any possible means with the aim of further destroying the number of Ukrainian servicemen by Russian occupation forces and conducting a quick counterattack as a response to the “aggressive actions of the Ukrainian side” taking control of additional areas of the Lugansk region.
Currently, measures are being taken to prepare the appropriate infrastructure for the deployment of these units from the 45th Special Forces brigade and the 11th Airborne brigade of the RF Armed Forces to the territory of the so-called “LNR”. Also, attention should be paid to the fact that the main goal set in Moscow during this complex operation is not to create a “picture” for Russian propaganda, but to maximally lower the moral spirit of Ukrainian servicemen by the simultaneous destruction of a large number of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel , which should lead to a significant increase in mistrust to the highest military and political leadership of Ukraine, as well as the rapid breakthrough of the Russian occupation forces deep into the territory of Lugansk region controlled by Ukraine with further capture of new positions.
The recruitment of recruits for “service” (including drivers) in “100th separate mechanized brigade of the 1st Army Corps DNR” is continuing. The recruitment passes without a medical examination. In addition, recruitment in “3rd separate battalion of Special Forces “Kupol” of 1st Army Corps DNR” was announced. It is noted that, due to a significant lack of willingness to participate in the activities of the illegal armed formations, the militants who were previously fired for disciplinary offenses, in particular the AWOL, drunkenness, drug addiction and the some like of that, also have a potential opportunity to get a job. At the same time, information was received about the unsatisfactory moral and psychological climate in the units of the “1st separate mechanized brigade” of the occupation troops, which leads to massive AWOL of the brigade personnel and significantly affects the combat readiness of the mentioned IAF. In particular, 17 militants left the place of deployment and disappeared in an unknown direction since the beginning of the drills (since 27.03.2013) on the range near the Svobodnoye village in Telmanovskoe region, to participate in which were involved personnel of this brigade and so-called “reservists”. At present time, measures are being taken to search for and detain deserters.
In continuation of the ecclesiastical theme and activities of the UOC-MP in the territory of Ukraine, the IR group got information that the Metropolitan of Zaporozhye and Melitopol Luka (in the world Kovalenko Andrey), who propagandizes the idea of the so-called “child-rites” in the churches of the UOC-MP children who underwent this ceremony in the temples of other Ukrainian churches of Orthodox faiths, primarily the UOC-KP, on an ongoing basis travels to Russia and to the territory of the “DNR”. During these trips, Metropolitan Luke meets with clergymen of the Moscow Patriarchate and with various citizens of the Russian Federation, while the latter constantly receives significant financial resources for unknown purposes.
In the occupied territory of the Donetsk region, there is a gradual decline in the financing of utilities, with a reduction in the working week for enterprise employees and a decrease in the average wage to 5671 rubles. “State Enterprise “Luganskgaz” sent an account for the debt about 750 thousand rubles to the “Ministry of Health of the LNR” (about 250 thousand rubles of which are in arrears only to hospitals in Lugansk), and also warned of stop of work the heating stations that are subordinated to the above-mentioned “ministry” in the next season, until the debts for the energy resources are fully repaid.
The Youth Media Forum of the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation “Media Crimea” is planned in the occupied territory of Crimea From 11 to 13 May this year. Young workers of the media resources of the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation, the so-called “LNR/DNR” and other pseudo-state entities are involved in it. The program of the event provides conducting classes in the following areas: modern journalism, photo-video shooting, blogging, development of modern media. The themes include: “attracting young people to work with the media,” “development of the international and interregional youth cooperation”, “support and interaction with social movements and organizations”, “forming a Russian identity, the unity of the Russian nation”, “patriotic education of youth” and etc.
