The study of the Russian labor market in the field of “Protection and Security” in recent weeks reveals one interesting detail. Namely: the recruitment activity of Russian PMCs sharply increased in February.
With a detailed study of the relevant vacancies on such web sites as avito.ru, 63rabota.ru, rabota-smolensk.ru and others (see screenshots), we see that massive recruitment is going in all regions of the Russian Federation – while these vacancies are veiled under the vacancy of “security guard objects”, working “shift” method with the term of “business trips” 3 months.
It would seem that what is connection between the vacancy of the “object guard” and PMCs? If you carefully examine these ads, you can see a few unique features that leave no doubt.
Firstly, the payment from 80,000 rubles that even in Moscow the average salary of the guard is from 45,000 to 60,000 rubles.
The second is the requirements for the candidate. Here’s a good example:
“Requirements: good fitness condition. The existence of a license for weapons is not necessary.
All military registration specialties are considered. “
(A license for weapons is not needed – it is only required when you working on the territory of the Russian Federation, but it is simply necessary to have a military specialty and experience in military service).
“The region of residence does not matter”.
(Indeed, what difference does it make from where the “cannon fodder” will go to the Donbass or to Syria – from St. Petersburg or Chita?).
“Responsibilities: armed protection and security of facilities in different regions.”
“Conditions: all employees are provided with accommodation, work clothes, uniform, and food”.
“The term of business trips is 3 months.
Experience in trouble spots will be a plus. “
“Work is in a large Russian company with a friendly team.”
(About the “friendly team” – it’s true: mercenaries do not fight for coffins).
“For detailed information about the vacancy, call from 9:00 to 20:00 Moscow time on weekdays.”
Here it should be noted that one of the main requirements for guards on the territory of Russia is the availability of existing documents for conducting security activities. But, it is not required in these ads.
So, the good fitness condition, the duration of business trips is 3 months, experience in trouble spots and “all military registration specialties are considered” – all this already speaks about the relevant specifics of the activities of this hiring organization.
Another important detail of this announcement is that the name of the organization is indicated as “Veterans of armed conflicts”, while the contact person is a certain Alexei and the phone number. The lack of a full-fledged address of the company is explained by the fact that even in today’s Russia a criminal article (Article 359 of the Criminal Code) “Mercenary” has not yet been canceled and punishment for this kind of activity threatens from 3 to 7 years of imprisonment.
Also, it shows the geography of the placement of this announcement, which is given in 24 regions of Russia, mainly in areas with high unemployment and located military units of the Airborne and Special Forces in them.
And, most importantly, this announcement is dated February 20, 2018. It can be safely concluded that the “rumors” about the large losses in the ranks of the Wagner PMC are turning into facts. And the acute shortage of “cannon fodder” after the recent events in Syria makes urgently recruit the next batch of them. Also, numerous losses among the Wagner fighters are forcing the occupying authorities in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions to form two “Syrian” battalions from among the local residents in a hurry, with the already incomplete of “1st Army Corps DNR” and “2nd Army Corps LNR” units (the IR group reported this in a recent report).
It shows that Putin urgently needs “cannon fodder” for Syria and the Donbas, and that the Kremlin clique is in no way ready to abandon its “peacekeeping intentions”, both in Syria and on the territory of Ukraine, and the recruitment of fresh “cannon fodder” is in full swing.
So, “dear Russians”, if you are ready to die for the private interests of Putin and Co and be buried in an anonymous pit in Syria or Ukraine, then welcome to “work for a large Russian company with a friendly team.”
