IR summary: the command of the"1st Army Corps DNR" came up with a new way of recruiting the numbers of the invaders

Operational data of the group “Information Resistance”

The activation of the Russian occupation forces in the Donbass is noted. The enemy’s use of heavy weapons is fixed.

– to the north of Pishchevik, at least a pair of 120-mm mortars of the occupants fired 10 mines along the AFU positions with wide spread, accompanied by machine gun fire;

– in the area of the dumps along the southwestern outskirts of Dokuchaevsk, the invaders used for direct firing a standard BMP-1 gun;

– In the area south-east of Kamenka, the invaders used a pair of BMP-2, which, maneuvering from behind the southern edge of the Krutaya Balka, fired at the forward positions of the AFU along the road Kamenka-Verkhnetoretskoe from regular 30-mm automatic cannons;

– in the area of the air shaft of the Putilovskaya mine (Butovka) and positions in the Almazy area, the occupants repeatedly used 82-mm mortars of type 2B14 “Tray” at the positions of Ukrainian troops during the shelling by machine grenade launchers and automatic small arms.  The firing was conducted from the plantation and industrial sites between the railway station Donetsk-Severnyi and “Agro-Nafta”;

– from the forest belt in the area of the western outskirts of the Sakhanka, the occupiers opened fire from 82-mm mortars at the positions of the AFU south of Vodyanoe;

– 82-mm mortars of type 2B9 “Cornflower” were used by the enemy during firing at AFU positions in the area north of Verkhnetoretsky from disguised positions in the area south-east of Stavki;

– ZU-23-2 AD systems were used by the enemy in the area of the “industrial zone” of Avdeevka along its southeastern outskirts. According to the scheme, the advanced fire group of occupants fired at the advanced positions of the AFU from the neutral zone using cover by a mobile ZU-23-2 AD systems (mainly during the withdrawal from firing positions).

Redeployments of forces and means of invaders:

– Two convoys were fixed in the area of the “Bahmut Route” on the section between Aleksandrovsk and Dolgoe. The first convoy was consisting of 4 MT-LB, 2 three-axle trucks Kamaz and 2 BMP-1. The second – 2 SAM “Strela-10M”, 2 BTR-70/ 80 and 3 trucks Ural. The convoys moved in the direction of turning to Slavyanoserbsk or further to the Smelyoe. Obviously, the enemy continues to strengthen its units, occupying positions south of the Krymskoe;

– The movement of at least 15 units of various enemy armored combat vehicles (mainly BMP-2), 7 tanks, 4 units of 122 mm SAU type 2С1 “Carnation”, 3 units of 122-mm cannon howitzer type D-30 and trucks was observed in the area of Mospino. According to preliminary data, the company tactical group of militants is redeploying from the 7th separate mechanized brigade;

– The invaders hastily strengthen their defensive positions in the area of Dokuchaevsk. At the direction Yasnoye-Dokuchaevsk – industrial zone, equipment is being installed for a number of shelters and caponiers for the armored combat vehicles. Some units of BMP-1 and MT-LB are transferred from the side of Styla. The enemy conducts the same engineering works in the area of the Staraya Colonia and in the Central Quarry (dump area), where equipment for additional positions for infantry is also noted.

The command of the “2nd Army Corps LNR plans to sharply improve “the quality of training of mortar squads” in the near future by conducting a number of trainings, completing the units with personnel and new assets. In particular, it is expected to receive 40 units of previously ordered 82-mm mortars from the Russian Federation.

“6th separate mechanized regiment” from the “2nd Army Corps LNR” received a reinforcement (up to 200 Russian mercenaries), which came from the Russian Federation to Kadievka (formerly Stakhanov), and at least 20 units of infantry armament (82-mm mortars, heavy mounted grenade launchers SPG and AGS and ZU-23-2 AD systems).

The “100th separate mechanized brigade” (“1st Army Corps DNR”) began to get large-caliber machine guns of the NSV-12.7 type “Utes” (also recorded 12.7-mm machine guns “Cord” of Russian production, which only in the arsenal of the armies of the Russian Federation and Mali) for completing from the Russian Federation. Machine guns are transported in disassembled form by trucks.

The command of both “Army Corps” of the occupiers in categorical form ordered the command of units and subunits “… to speed up preparation for the autumn-winter period”. Priority is given to “units of the first line”, where the preparation of military equipment and armament is to be accelerated, as well as “equipment of heated shelters on the line of demarcation,” including field type. Earlier, sudden checks of Russian “advisers” in two brigades of the “1st Army Corps” revealed complete sabotage of planned events of this kind, but the latter were noted in the reports of commanders.

In a number of towns and villages under the control of the “DNR”, so-called “days of professional orientation” are held with the most active participation of “military commissariats”, which are their main organizers. The main goal of the events is the recruitment of as many as possible those wishing to undergo “service” in the units of the “1st Army Corps DNR”. The task for these events was set by the command of the “1st Army Corps DNR” (OC “Donetsk”), who stated that a shortage of “personnel” in individual battalions and brigades reached a critical level – up to 40% of the staff strength. That, in this turn, “… has a dramatic negative effect on the combat capability and quality of combat missions.”

“MGB of the DNR” is recruiting men and women aged from 18 to 40 years in the “Border Guard Service of the DNR”. The recruitment is carried out in accordance with the decree of A. Zakharchenko from 14.09.2017 on increasing the number of the “Border Guard Service”. The declared goal is “to improve the quality of work and increase the capacity of the “DNR CPs”.

The DNR leadership negatively reacted to the refusal of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) to accept cases that, according to the leaders of the “DNR”, were massively gathered from the inhabitants of the occupied areas. For example, A. Golubtsov, head of the international cooperation sector of the Supreme Court of the DNR, stated that the ECHR “refuses to consider the cases of DNR citizens, being guided by double standards and motivating their refusal by not applying beforehand to the Ukrainian courts.” At the same time, previously, the leadership of the DNR launched a broad information campaign to collect claims from residents against “crimes of the AFU” and the Ukrainian authorities, which were planned to be sent to the ECHR and other international judicial institutions.
