IR summary: 16 militants of Russian occupation forces were killed in the past week

Operational data of the group “Information Resistance”

In the period from 6 to 12 September this year, Russian-terrorist forces in the Donbas have increased the number of firings. In total, units of the 1st Army Corps DNR and 2nd Army Corps LNR carried out more than 250 artillery raids (last week, about 175) from 82 and 120-mm mortars, 122 mm portable grenade launchers Grad-P, infantry fighting vehicles and tanks. The most intense fire strikes were inflicted by the enemy on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the zone of responsibility of the operational-tactical group “Donetsk” and “Mariupol”. Maximum enemy activity was observed near the settlements Gnutovo, Vodyanoe and Shirokino.

In recent times, the nature of the attacks has changed significantly, their intensity has decreased, and there is often an unaimed fire. Exceptions are separate sites, where the mortar squads and crews of enemy combat vehicles are mostly servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and Russian mercenaries.

The same applies to the actions of sniper pairs and. The activation of the enemy’s subversive and reconnaissance groups is noted in the vicinity of the settlements of Donetsk, Avdeevka and Shirokino.

The high activity of conducting reconnaissance by the enemy with the involvement of military, special and electronic intelligence continues to be noted in order to clarify the combat order of the ATO forces at the front line, as well as the opening of military facilities for their fire destruction. The work of two disguised Russian automated interference stations (TSA) P-330ZH (Resident) was identified in the area of the village Kalinovo and Komissarovka.

In the period from 5 to 11 September this year, confirmed losses of Russian occupation forces in the Donbass amounted to 16 people:

1st Army Corps – 9th separate assault mechanized regiment (Novoazovsk) – 3 people, 3rd separate mechanized brigade (Gorlovka) – 3 people, 11th separate mechanized regiment (Makeevka) – 2 people;

2nd Army Corps – 6th separate mechanized regiment (Kadievka) – 1 person, 2nd separate mechanized brigade (Lugansk) – 3 people, 4th separate mechanized brigade (Alchevsk) – 2 people, 7th separate mechanized brigade (Bryanka) – 2 people.

Intending to hide the real number of dead, the command of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps continues to apply the practice of registering them under the guise of death from domestic accidents.

To ensure the terrorist activities of the units and formations of the 1st Army Corps DNR and 2nd Army Corps LNR, about 1650 tons of fuel and lubricants, as well as components for the repair of equipment (about 50 units of tank engines, as well as about 30 repair kits for motor transport) were delivered (railway station Rovenky) from the territory of Russia in the period from 6 to 12 September this year.

A significant activation of the invaders is recorded in the northeast corner of the Stakhanov group. The IP group’s network in this area records the movement of enemy armored vehicles by 2-3 units per day (at night, mainly BMP-1/2). The transfer is going from the direction of Golubovka (formerly Kirovsk) to Sentyanovka (formerly Frunze) and Donetsk. In turn, the garrisons of the occupiers at Golubovka and Donetsk “accept the replenishment”. The units of Russian mercenaries arrive in place.

The command of the 1st Army Corps DNR (OC “Donetsk”) “oriented” the commanders of the units in the Staromikhaylovka-Zhilploschadka-Trudovskie (Donetsk region) area, that allegedly “a special unit of international mercenaries has arrived, mainly from Great Britain and Canada, in the number not less than 50 people “, and “a group of instructors from the United States of 17 people allegedly arrived” to the defending this area mechanized brigade of the UAF, “who are going to … directly participate in the fighting”.  The headquarters of the 1st Army Corps DNR state that the arriving “NATO serviceman” has been tasked to capture Russian citizens who are fighting in the 1st Army Corps DNR, first of all, the regular servicemen of the RF Armed Forces.

The command of the 2nd Army Corps LNR appealed to the command of the 8th Army of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with the demand to allocate additional engineering equipment for the needs of the “Army Corps” (machines such as CMV and regimental earth-digging machines, as well as amphibious carriers and pontoon parks (the appointment of the latter in the current format of the tasks 2nd Army Corps LNR raises questions).

The headquarters of the 1st Army Corps DNR and 2nd Army Corps LNR received an order from the Chief of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces, regulating the right of entrance to the higher educational institutions of the Defense Ministry (military academies and the Academy of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces). According to this order, the priority right of entrance to the military academies and the Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is now provided to servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, who served in command posts in units and formations of the 1st Army Corps DNR and 2nd Army Corps LNR.

The units of the 1st Army Corps DNR in Mariupol direction received an order to prepare for the intensification of hostilities from 14.09.2017. The commanders of the occupying forces are ordered to conduct sudden checks of the combat readiness and effectiveness of the service by the militants, arguing that this is supposedly preparing offensive of UAF. At the same time, the enlisted militants associate the increase in the level of combat readiness with the expected the visit of the commission from among the representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the so-called “curators” and “advisors”, in mid-September this year. Also in the environment of the occupants, the issue of sending follow-up groups of militants to conduct a 2-week training course in military camps on the territory of the Russian Federation is being actively discussed.

The removal of the “deputative” seals (the “People’s Council of the LNR”) from the representative of the “LNR” in the Minsk Group Vladislav Deynego caused a resonance among the functionaries of the “LNR”. Despite the fact that Deynego himself says about the supposedly new “work in the republic,” his “colleagues” are sure that the Russian president’s administration is preparing the “evacuation” of Deynego to Russia by the personal agreement of the latter with V. Surkov.

At the direction of the Russian curators, the leadership of the “LNR” is planning to distribute statements in the media about alleged persecutions and harassment of residents of the Lugansk region controlled by the Ukrainian authorities by the SBU officers who expressed a desire to receive social benefits within the framework of the “Humanitarian Program for the reunification of the people of Donbass”. The task is to find citizens who can make appropriate applications for television cameras. In the opinion of Russian curators, such accusations can become another line of activity aimed at discrediting the Ukrainian authorities at the face of the international community.

The leadership of the Communist Party of Belarus (CPB) expressed dissatisfaction with the requirements of the leader of the Communist Party of Ukraine (PCU) P. Symonenko on providing him the assistance in organizing a meeting with the President of Belarus A. Lukashenko. During this meeting, the leader of the CPU wants to get a personal permission from Lukashenko for Simonenko and his close relatives to participate in the commercial schemes of Rosneft and CJSC Belarusian Oil Company (CJSC BNK), which they carry out on the territory of Ukraine, within the framework of the controlled ZAO BNK of a subsidiary of LLC BNK-Ukraine (office – Kiev, Zhilyanskaya street 50-A). As part of the meeting with A. Lukashenko, P. Symonenko intends to motivate his initiative by the need for financial support for the CPU and “the New State” party, which under its control, and also to focus the President of the Republic of Belarus on the support of the CPU of his political-economic course. At the same time, the leaders of the CPB note that if P. Symonenko establishes his own business in the oil industry, the received funds will be directed not at political activities but placed on the bank accounts of the leader of the Communist Party of Ukraine and members of his family.

BACKGROUND: in October 2015 P. Symonenko and the leadership of the Communist Party of Ukraine, as well as the leadership of the Communist Party of RF, took part in campaigning to support the candidacy of A. Lukashenko for the post of president of Belarus. In December 2016, Simonenko received a valuable gift from Lukashenko, as a gratitude for the participation of the leader of the Communist Party of Ukraine in the election campaign of the President of Belarus.
