Operational data of the group “Information Resistance”

Over the past few days, the activities of the snipers’ groups of the Russian occupation forces have significantly intensified in the areas of Donetsk, Yasinovataya, Shirokino, and Marinka. Apart from the enemy’s attempts to maintain a degree of tension in this way with less use of heavy weapons, it is also due to the arrival of the replenishment to the units of 1st Army Corps DNR (after the next release from the school of snipers GRU AF of RF in the Rostov region in July this year).

A group of instructors from Kazan Higher Tank Command School (Kazan, Russia) arrived in the interest of forming a “separate tank brigade” in the 1st Army Corps DNR (based on 1st separate tank battalion, Donetsk). The main task of the group is to conduct combat coordination of disparate tank units from the 1st Army Corps, as well as mercenary teams coming from the Russian Federation, manned with personnel with appropriate military registration records (driver-mechanic, tank commander, gunner), who must join to the formed “brigade”.

 (It should be recalled that this is not the first time that representatives of the military university in Kazan participated in military operations in the Donbas. For example, in 2014 parents of 17 officers and cadets of this university announced their deaths in the Donbas, and in 2015 the military intelligence of Ukraine identified the former graduate from this military institution, Major of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Anatoly Kudinov, who fought against the UAF in the 2nd separate mechanized brigade (2nd Army Corps LNR, Lugansk) and served as deputy chief of staff of the brigade).

Since July 17, the monthly field training of artillery units of the 1st Army Corps DNR continues to take place. The group of listeners of the Mikhailovsky Military Artillery Academy (St. Petersburg, Russia) arrived for the participation in this training. At least 30 people were registered. According to the already established practice, in addition to participation in the field training, students of the Russian military academy take part in “practical exercises” – organizing and carrying out artillery strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements on the territory under their control.

15 Russian BMP-3 arrived from the territory of the Russian Federation to the base of heavy weapons of the 3rd separate mechanized brigade of the 1st Army Corps DNR (Gorlovka), as a part of the company’s military tactical group of the RF Armed Forces, which is transferred to the Donbas. The company tactical group, which arrived in Gorlovka, was made up from 136th separate mechanized brigade (military unit 63354) of the 58th Army of the South Army District of Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (Buinaksk, Republic of the Dagestan, Russian Federation).

On the seaside direction (Novoazovsk district), active work of the portable radar station for reconnaissance of ground targets for short range action 1L277 Soboljatnik was recorded. The station is used only by the Armed Forces of RF (adopted in the end of 2012).

Over the past week, refusals to fulfill their official duties by local militants and Russian mercenaries were recorded in the units of the 9th separate assault mechanized regiment (Novoazovsk, 1st Army Corps DNR) and 2nd separate mechanized brigade (Lugansk, 2nd Army Corps LNR). The reasons are general – systematic delays in the payment of monetary allowances, as well as illiteracy and unprofessional actions of their commanders – regular Russian officers. So, according to the information from servicemen of 9th separate assault mechanized regiment, because of the illiteracy of their Russian “advisors” in June this year at least 15 militants were killed.

Between July 17 and July 24, the confirmed losses of the Russian occupation forces on the Donbas were 28 people:

1st Army Corps DNR – “100th separate mechanized brigade (Donetsk) – 8 people, 9th separate assault mechanized regiment (Novoazovsk) – 6 people;

2nd Army Corps LNR – 4th separate mechanized brigade (Alchevsk) – 6 people, 7th separate mechanized brigade (Bryanka) – 8 people.

There is no confirmed data on losses in other units at this time. The bulk of these exterminated militants is the result of their actions in the tactical groups when they attempt to attack the positions of the UAF.

For the purpose of securing units and subunits of the 2nd Army Corps LNR with armament, fuel and ammunition from Russia to the occupied territory of the Luhansk region, over the last week more than 30 tons of ammunition (mines and shells) and about 1,400 tons of fuel were delivered. After carrying out repair work at the 7024th base of storage and repair of military equipment (Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov region, RF), the South Military District of Armed Forces of RF, a convoy of vehicles of 2nd separate mechanized brigade of the 2nd Army Corps LNR arrived in Lugansk (a point of permanent deployment), consisting of 20 vehicles (10 trucks “Ural” and 10 trucks “Kamaz”) with spare parts and lubricants for them.

In the Ilovaysk is forming a train for sending to Russia for ammunition and fuel.

On the uncontrolled by Ukraine section of the state border with the Russian Federation (Uspenka CP), officers of the Border Guard Service of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation are carrying out filtration measures against persons who served in units of terrorist organizations of the DNR and the LNR, which are trying to leave for Russia. Persons who are involved in these terrorist organization and do not have a passport of a Russian citizen (local militants) are not allowed to enter Russia, they are forced to return. In some cases after identification, such militants are detained by officers of the MGB DNR. Militants with a passport of the Russian Federation (Russian mercenaries) are detained by the Russian Federal Security Service officers and taken to the territory of the Russian Federation.

07/30/2017 in the Svyato-Uspenskaya Svyatogorskaya Laura of the UOC-MP (Svyatogorsk, Donetsk region), celebrations will be held on the occasion of the Svyatogorskaya icon of the Mother of God. Also, it will be held the procession from the Uspenskiy Cathedral to the monument of the Blessed Virgin Mary on the Lavra Square (in the vicinity of the Svyatogorskaya Lavra). The organizer is the cloister of the Svyato-Uspenskaya Svyatogorskaya Laura.

In preparation for the celebration, the leadership of the UOC-MP and the Svyato-Uspenskaya Svyatogorskaya Laura try to carry out the ideological treatment of believers, provoking their negative attitude towards Ukraine and the Ukrainian authorities. For example, on the official website of the the Svyato-Uspenskaya Svyatogorskaya Laura on July 21, 2017, the material was titled “The Procession 2017: a campaign against the Church has already begun!”, which is taken from the Internet resource “Union of Orthodox Journalists”, known for spreading anti-Ukrainian misinformation and publishing Ukrainian-phobic materials. In the video, it was announced that allegedly the Ukrainian media and the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine launched a campaign to manufacture fakes in order to incite hatred towards the UOC-MP.
