09.06.2017 – Operational data of the group “Information Resistance”

Over the past week, Russian-terrorist forces in the Donbas most intensively fired at the positions of Ukrainian troops in Donetsk (more than 200 fire raids) and Mariupol (more than 120 fire raids) directions. Among other things, the enemy, fired at the facilities of the ATO forces deployed in tactical depths (areas and places where, according to the Minsk agreements, the armament and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were pulled back), as well as at the settlements including on the territory controlled by the Russian troops (Dokuchaevsk, Olenovka, Pervomaisk, Kalinovo, Nikolaevka). In the area of ​​settlements Novotoshkovskoe, Avdeevka, Krasnogorovka, Marinka, Novotroitskoye, Pavlopol, Gnutovo, Talakovka, Vodyanoe and Shirokino, there was a high activity of snipers.

The command of the 1st Army Corps DNR and the 2nd Army Corps LNR continues to carry out a covert regrouping and redeployment of their forces and means with the aim of strengthening them, and also rotates the units and subunits that are at the forefront. In particular:

– along the front line at the Krutaya Balka-Yasinovataya line, the units of 2nd mechanized battalion of the 11th separate mechanized regiment of the 1st Army Corps DNR were reinforced with a tank platoon of a tank battalion and a fire group of an anti-tank artillery battery;

– in the area of the former B/ P No.32 (towards Smelyoe, Luhansk region), the appearance of new artillery positions of the invaders, disguised and equipped in a forest plantation on the southwestern outskirts of the village, is noted. The positions are equipped for an artillery battery, and at the moment they is fixed to 2 units of 122-mm howitzer D-30;

– New positions for self-propelled guns were found on the northern outskirts of the settlement of Golubovka (formerly Kirovsk, Lugansk region). 4 units of self-propelled guns 2С1 “Carnation” of the occupiers, which are locating there, are acting from these positions, actively maneuvering and firing on positions of ATO forces. Also in this area, to the north of the settlement of Golubovka, 2 units of self-propelled guns 152-mm ACS 2C3 “Acacia” of the enemy were recorded. In the Golubovka, at the intersection of Voykov St. and Shkolny, in the yard of the cafe “Sportbar” there are 10 units of military equipment of the 1st Kirov Battalion of the separate mechanized brigade” Ghost ” of the 2nd Army Corps LNR (6 tanks, 4 APCs). The specified equipment is sent in the direction of the settlement Sentyanovka (formerly Frunze) every day, and then is used by militants in combat operations against the ATO forces;

– In the area of Donetsk (Spartak), it is recorded the appearance of a new mobile fire group of invaders, according to preliminary data, allocated from the 1st separate mechanized brigade of the Russian-terrorist troops. The group includes at least 3 120-mm mortars, 2 82-mm automatic mortars 2B9 Vasilok and 1 ATGM. This group moves by 5 transport units and works by separate fire units.

In the units and subunits of both “Army Corps” of the occupying forces in the Donbas, there is a “week of combat readiness” with competitions in “tank biathlon” between the crews of the tank units of the 1st Army Corps DNR and the 2nd Army Corps LNR, and tactical exercises with elements of landing of sea assault in the area of the settlement Sedovo (Novoazovsk district of the Donetsk region). With a view to organizing and monitoring the implementation of these combat training activities, the commissions from the headquarters of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces arrived at the 1st Army Corps DNR and 2nd Army Corps LNR.

31 tankers with fuel and lubricants (6,000 tons to Mospino, 1,200 tons to Rovenky), nine railway cars with ammunition (to the Ilovaysk 270 tons) and three railway cars with components for armament and military equipment (to the Mospino) were delivered from the territory of the Russian Federation to temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions from May 30 to June 5 this year  for provisioning of the units and subunits of the occupation troops in the Donbas with weapons and military equipment, ammunition, and fuel and lubricants.

The command of the 2nd Army Corps LNR is trying to establish cooperation between the subordinate units that conduct combat operations on the section from Molodezhnoe to Donetsk, and operate along the Bakhmut route. It was decided to secretly put forward up to the tank company in the area south of the settlement Sentyanovka (former Frunze) for the formation of a strike group in the case of “breakthrough units of the UAF” in the region of Smelyoe or b/n # 31, and this possibility is considered as “highly probable.”

The headquarters of the 1st Army Corps DNR takes unprecedented measures to maintain the number and the degree of staffing of subordinate units and subunits at least the minimum possible level. Measures are being taken to keep militants on “military service” and prevent the rupture of “contracts”. In particular, at the direction of the “Corps” headquarters, the command of the units requires those militants who want to break the “contract” to reimburse expenses of the DNR for their preparation and maintenance; in separate units up to the “cost recovery” for food and clothing, and even for weapons and ammunition. More often, such demands are made against “servicemen” from among local residents, less often to Russian mercenaries, which causes additional indignation of local militants.

Among the population of the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region, there is growing protest moods related to the actual cessation of the work of the main coal enterprises as a result of the so-called “nationalization”. Taking into account the loss of the sales market (the territory controlled by Ukraine), the solution of this problem in the short term is not possible. In this regard, among the miners, which are on unpaid vacation, the issue of organizing mass protests in defense of their rights is increasingly being discussed (Donetsk, Makeyevka, Yenakiyevo, Gorlovka). Wage delays in working enterprises and pensions are also recorded.

The Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate continues to develop a strategy and tactics to counter the attempts of the Parliament of Ukraine to limit the anti-Ukrainian activities of this religious organization, led from the aggressor country. Thus, at the initiative of Metropolitan Hilarion of Donetsk and Mariupol, a meeting was held in the Donetsk diocesan administration of the UOC-MP (Donetsk) with the participation of the fathers of the deanery districts of the Donetsk diocese in order to work out cooperation in arranging protest actions with mass involvement of parishioners if the Ukrainian parliament begins to discuss bills No.№4128 and 4511 (the latter aims at minimizing subversion of the UOC-MP).

In Donetsk, due to the lack of funding, a reduction of about 600 employees of the Donetskgorteploset, structural subdivision of Donbasssteplenergo, is planned. The wave of job cuts is expected from June 10, 2017.

Acting Head of the administration of Dokuchaevsk (under the control of the DNR) Kachanov A. ordered to issue “vouchers” of nominal value of 3,000 rubles to disadvantaged groups of the population, which can later to realize in the  “Elite” shops of TPC “DORS Elite plus”, owned by Akhunzyanov, former deputy of Dokuchaevsk City Council.
