Operational data of the group “Information Resistance”
Battalion tactical exercises are taking place at the training ground of the Russian-terrorist troops near Toretsk, with which the formation of the new battalion tactical group (BTGr) of the invaders is over, and it will be part of the 1st Army Corps DNR. Particular attention during the exercises is given to the interaction of infantry and artillery and mortar units. According to preliminary data, after the exercises, this BTGr will be redeployed to the area south of Dokuchaevsk (according to other sources – in Petrovsk district of Donetsk). The exercises take place without heavy armored vehicles; the tanks will arrive to the BTGr before being sent to the front.
The 6-gun battery of 122-mm D-30A howitzers arrived in the Budennovsk district of Donetsk for completing the 5th separate mechanized brigade of the 1st Army Corps DNR. The howitzers were transferred in the dark time of the day on the trailer of the trucks Ural, and 2 units of MT-LB were also recorded in the convoy (one of them – in the variant of the mobile control point).
The redeployment of the armored vehicles is fixed from Yenakiyevo to the front, up to the motorized rifle company on the BTR-80 during the day (one of them in the BTR-80A variant). Also, the transfer of 2 trucks Ural with manpower, 1 truck Ural with anti-aircraft missile system ZU-23-2 and 2 120-mm mortar with a trailer for truck GAZ-66 was recorded, A group of invaders, which is operating at the north of Avdeevka, was reinforced with these forces and equipment.
The command of the 1st Army Corps DNR and 2nd Army Corps LNR synchronously demanded from a number of commanders of subordinate units, operating in the area of the Svetlodarsk arc, to stop the practice of abandoning the advanced positions “without rendering resistance to the enemy.” At the same time, relatively recent advancement of the UAF units in this sector, it is indicated in the order that a number of units of the occupants “because of the difficulties associated with high tension of personnel” were not able to keep a number of forward positions and observation post, and “they were forced to leave them.”
The leadership of the Center for Territorial Troops of the Southern Military District of the RF Armed Forces (Rostov-on-Don, RF) is considering the formation of a separate tank brigade as part of the 1st Army Corps DNR. The initiator of the creation of this brigade was the command of the 1st Army Corps DNR. It is proposed to form it on the basis of a separate tank battalion “Diesel”, which in 2016 was marked by Russian curators as the “best tank battalion” in the DNR and LNR rebel formations. At the Center of Territorial Troops of the Southern Military District of the RF Armed Forces are skeptical about the formation of this type of brigade, pointing out the difficulties in ensuring the life support and combat readiness of such formation, problems in formation (indicated by a shortage of trained crews) and combat use, but the command of the 1st Army Corps DNR enforces to create such type of the brigade.
The command of the 2nd Army Corps LNR takes measures to conceal the facts of the use of artillery by the occupiers. In particular, commanders of artillery units and subunits are required to ensure the dispersal of forces and sources, their careful disguise and protection, as well as strict observance of the rules of camouflage during the redeployment; The movements themselves in the 35-km zone from the front line are prescribed to be performed only in the dark time of the day after the coordination of time and the route with military intelligence and counterintelligence. First of all, these requirements concern cannon artillery caliber 152 mm and above, as well as rocket launcher systems. The order also requires from commanders to “carefully study the experience of the use of artillery means by the forces of individual batteries and groups of guns.”
In the units of the first line of the 1st Army Corps DNR, operating south of Donetsk, south-east of Dokuchaevsk, the inspectorate panel from the “staff corps” revealed a number of omissions regarding the organization of the defense system of the occupiers (they do not maintain their distance in depth of defense, there are no tactical reserves, the defense is organized into one echelon, is strongly stretched and in some places has a “focal” character, the units are forced to “close” areas “significantly exceeding the standards”). In addition, the commission stated that “the enemy completely stays on top of the weak sides of the organization of defense in this sector.”
In the seaside direction, subunits of the 9th separate marine assault infantry regiment of the 1st Army Corps DNR (Novoazovsk district) together with the Azov Flotilla of the DNR are conducting exercises that include battalion tactical exercises on land and working out the issues of “landing” “from the sea on the coast with fishing boats and pleasure boats, which are the part of the” flotilla “. In the course of the exercises, parts of the Azov Flotilla’s barges were transferred to the Bezymennoe, although previously all the “flotilla forces” were relocated from Bezimennoye to Sedovo because of the threats of the UAF offensive. Russian instructors from the 9th regiment consider that the retention of the fire initiative with the use of 120-mm mortars and 122-mm and 152-mm artillery on a number of sectors of the front in the zone of responsibility of the regiment is mandatory and indispensable condition of “successful defense”. According to the Russians, the enemy (UAF) constantly seeks to “shatter the defense of the regiment” and only the active use of mortars and artillery is holding back from the final “overturning of the front” (as verbatim in the document).
The command of the 1st Army Corps DNR forbade the commanders of units and subunits in the first line to admit the unauthorized persons to the positions, incl. from the number of former servicemen of these units and subunits. Among the cases of various incidents with outsiders listed in the order, it is indicated in the recent case in the DAP area when the former “militiaman” opened fire from the PK machine gun towards the positions of the UAF after a visit to the position and drinking alcoholic drinks with militants. As a result of the return fire, the fired himself and several militants who had not managed to hide were seriously injured.
In the settlement of Enakievo there is an aggravation of the socio-political situation associated with the stoppage of the work of the Yenakiyevo Metallurgical Plant and the dismissal of all employees of the factory. At the same time, the management of the Yenakiyevo Metallurgical Plant did not pay employees severance pay, nor did they expel the pension contribution to the Pension Fund of Ukraine. Dismissed workers apply to employment centers that are located in the territory under Ukraine’s control, for registration, for receiving unemployment benefits and for further employment in the specialty. At the same time, due to the fact that the Yenakiyevo Metallurgical Plant has not paid the necessary contributions to the PFU, employment centers cannot accrue funds in accordance with the percentage of wages for the last year, as a result of which the employees of the factory will receive only minimal assistance in the amount of 1200 hryvnia. As a result, among the representatives of this category of citizens there is growing dissatisfaction with the activities of the DNR and calls for protest actions in defense of their rights are recorded.
thousand people currently work at the mine named after A.A. Skochinsky (Donetsk, Biryuzova Street, 51). The coal production decreased from 1.7 thousand tons per day in early 2017, up to 1 thousand tons. The main reason for the sharp decrease in coal production was the lack of commodity-material supplies from the territory controlled by Ukraine, namely, forests for fixing mine workings, which does not allow carrying out installation work under the ground. Aforesaid materials for installation work were supplied from the territory controlled by Ukraine (Slavyansk), and now, due to the ban on movement of goods to the occupied territory within the framework of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, this material does not arrive at the mine. The last payment of wages at the mine was made in February 2017 and averaged 8 thousand Russian rubles (paid in two installments within a month). Restoration of payments to mine workers was promised since May this year, but as of May 25, 2017, the payment of salaries by the leadership of the mine was not carried out. Currently, the coal from the mine is shipped to factories, which are located in the DNR – Yasinovka Coke Plant (Makeevka) and Donetskstal Metallurgical Plant (Donetsk). The management of the mine promises the workers to organize the supply of timber from the territory of the Russian Federation, the restoration of coal production and the payment of wages “in the very near future.” At the same time, the curators of the MGB DNR at the mine named after A.A.Skochinsky note the high protest potential among the mine workers’ wages in the reports to the name of his management and recommend urgently taking measures on payment of arrears on.
