Operational data from IR group
Russian-terrorist forces in the Donbass carry out a number of regroupings of the company-battalion level in several sectors. The invaders try to use complex the weapons of destruction in separate sectors in the course of shelling and provocation.
On the Pavlopol-Shirokino direction, the enemy does not stop shelling, often chaotic, including artillery systems of 122-mm caliber (there were recorded fire raids on the positions of the ATO forces to the north of the Mariupol-Telmanovo route, south-east and north of Vodyanoe). Practically throughout this sector, the invaders fired 120-mm and 82-mm mortars and used heavy mounted grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and anti-aircraft artillery systems ZU-23-2. Also in the area of Shirokino and east of Talakovka the enemy used the combat armored vehicles (BMP-2) under the fire cover of mortars.
In the area of the village of Yasnoye (north of Dokuchaevsk), the enemy periodically opened fire from heavy mounted grenade launchers AGS and heavy machine guns.
In the Marinka area, the enemy actively used 82-mm mortars and snipers (several groups).
On the direction from Peski to Zaitsevo, it was permanent shelling and armed provocations by the occupants with the use of artillery and combat armored vehicles. In the area of Krasnogorovka was fixed a single enemy tank and a pair of 82-mm mortars from private sector. Another two tanks were noted in the section from the skyscrapers in the south of Butovka to the Ring Road (south of the Tsarskaya Okhota). One more tank of occupiers was recorded in the Avdeevka area to the north-west of the “industrial zone”. It fired several times on the Staraya Avdeevka.
Several shelling of 122-mm artillery from the enemy side was conducted in the Nevelskoy area, as well sporadic strikes on the “industrial zone” and the private sector of Avdeevka. The reconnaissance unit of the 1st Army Corps DNR reported that the self-propelled artillery of the UAF was allegedly camouflaged in this area. The dense fire of (82 mm and 120 mm) mortars and heavy machine guns was fixed in next areas: Opytnoe, Avdeevka and surroundings, Kamenka, Mayorsk, Zaitsevo, in the area east of Novgorodskoe and Zaitsevo. Also was fixed active use of heavy mounted grenade launchers and small arms throughout this sector.
In the Svetlodarskaya arc, was noted intensive shelling to the south-east of Lugansk (mortars, including 120 mm, and grenade launchers) and to the east of Troitskoe (machine guns and grenade launchers, armament of BTR-70 and anti-aircraft artillery systems ZU-23-2).
The grouping of the enemy from Kadievka (Stakhanov) was sharply activated. Combat armored vehicles are fixed in the section from Novotoshkovka to Sokolniki (the enemy tank fired from several positions on one of the defended post of UAF along Bakhmut route) and a dense fire by 120 mm mortars near Sokolniki.
The enemy conducted permanent shelling from various weapons, including 120-mm mortars and occasionally 122-mm artillery, in the area from Novozvanovka to Katerinovka.
Also was fixed the use of heavy mounted grenade launchers AGS, heavy machine guns from the monument to Knyaz Igor in the area of Stanitsa Luganskaya, and shooting from small arms on the Zheltiy and to the east of Schastie.

It is noted a regrouping of Russian-terrorist forces at the north-west direction of Kadievka-Bryanka (north of Almaznaya). Another motorized infantry company of the 2nd Army Corps LNR moved forward to the area between Kalinovo and Irmino. It was fixed 5 MT-LB, 4 BMP-1, 4 Kamaz and 2 Zil-131 trucks with 82-mm automatic mortars 2B9 “Vasilek” on the trailers.
Invaders again redeploy combat armored vehicles and artillery in the area of Donetsk to the Trudovskie. Two 122-mm self-propelled guns 2С1 “Gvozdika”, one BTR-80, one BTR-70, two BMP-2 and a tank passed through the Petrovsky district to the spoil bank at dusk and late at night. Further south to Aleksandrovka, the militants redeployed a unit of 82-mm automatic mortars of type 2B9 “Vasilok” and at least two 120-mm mortars. According to the data from IR group, later part of the redeployed forces and resources of the invaders will be transferred to the Staromikhaylovka area. In connection with this, is not excluded the activation of the enemy in the direction of Krasnogorovka.
Two motorized infantry companies from one of the unit of the 1st Army Corps DNR were redeployed to the village of Mineralnoye (some trucks KamAZ with the personnel in military uniform without identification marks, 2 BTR-80 and 1 combat armored vehicle “ Tiger “). The total number of personnel is at least 200 people.
The base of the special forces unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs DNR “Berkut” is located in the buildings of the former base of the special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “Berkut” (the district of the cemetery of the village of Karl Marx) in the settlement of Makeevka (Chervonogvardeysky district). This unit consists of two companies, where each company has 45 members. At the present time, the recruiting of personnel into the separate assault platoon of this unit is being carried out.
In the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region, the occupants establish paramilitary self-defense units among the local civilians with the involvement of non-obliged, including minors. The preliminary name of this unit is “Ratnik”. These units will come under command of the 1st Army Corps DNR. The task of the units is to participate in combat operations against the UAF in areas, where the units of the 1st Army Corps DNR cannot carry out military tasks for some reason or will need emergency reinforcement (variant of Hitler’s Volkssturm).
The military enlistment offices of LNR hold activities to register medical personnel, who, without exception, are declared to be liable for military service, regardless of gender, age and professional qualifications. These workers are informed that, if necessary, they will be mobilized and sent in the possession of the military field hospitals. As a “calming factor”, it is reported that, basically, these hospitals will be deployed on the basis of existing medical institutions, and therefore the workplaces will not have to be changed.
The command of the 2nd Army Corps LNR directed the instruction to the command of subordinate brigades to check thoroughly maps and layouts of mine fields, which were established by the invaders themselves in the first line. This order is caused by the frequent cases of personnel disruption on mines, including which were established by the militants themselves (an example, 5 servicemen were blown up for one day, 3 of them – on their own mine explosive devices). As indicated in the headquarters of the 2nd Army Corps LNR, the maps and minefield layouts are still missing or not properly designed in some units, which are located on the front line.
The media leaders of the DNR were instructed by Russian “curators” from the “Ministry of Information of the Donetsk People’s Republic to strengthen the information support of the process of nationalizing the factories in DNR. In particular, it is prescribed to prepare a series of TV reports about the alleged negative attitude of the Ukrainian authorities towards the workers of the mines, which are located in the DNR. In this case, as an example, it is recommended to use the problems of the Zasyadko mine (Donetsk).
Because of the dissatisfaction of the employees of the State Transfer Center, created by the DNR management on the basis of the “nationalized” capacities of the Donetsk branch of the RRT Concern, it was decided to pay salaries to employees in the amount of double “Ukrainian” payment (in rubles) minus 13 % of taxes. The size of the salaries reaches up to 20 thousand Russian Rubles. The citizen of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Usov (the Russian specialist, which was previously assigned to the Donbass for the setup of a television transmitter in the village of Boykovskoye (formerly Telmanovo) for broadcasting the DNR TV and Russia to Mariupol) was appointed the head of the process laboratory of the Republican Transfer Center.
The leadership of the DNR and LNR received instructions from Administration of the President of the RF to organize more active propaganda coverage of the so-called “Humanitarian program for the reunification of the people of Donbass”. This program was signed by A. Zakharchenko and I. Plotnitsky on February 17 of this year, and is aimed at promoting the ideas of the “Russian world” in the form of a declaration ”for the assistance of the peaceful population, who are living in the Donbass region, which temporarily under the control of Ukraine”. The program includes the provision of a number of services, including the material and medical assistance. Leaders of DNR and LNR actively disseminate information about this program to the general public, trying to attract as much attention to it as possible. To this end, it has been announced that a “hot telephone line” has been launched. At the same time, the media resources of DNR and LNR actively disseminate information about allegedly an extremely high interest in this program from the part of Ukrainians, which are wishing to take advantage of “help.”
