According to the IR operational data the following subdivisions of Russian military forces are identified in the occupied Lugansk region territory and areas of Russian Federation close to the Ukrainian border.

In the Lugansk region:

• 7^th  Guards Airborne Assault (mountain) division (Novorossiysk) – Southern Military District of the RF;
• 15^th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade (Roschinsky, Samara region) – Central Military District of the RF;
• 21^st Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade (Totskoye, Orenburg region) – Central Military District of the RF;
• Russian invaders from the 28^th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade (Ekaterinburg, Central Military District of the RF) are identified in the city of Stakhanov.

In the areas of Russian Federation close to the Ukrainian border:

The following subdivisions of Russian military forces are identified in the area of Russian village Millerovo, Rostov region:

• 21^st Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade (Totskoye, Orenburg region) – Central Military District of the RF;
• 27^th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade (Mosrentgen, Moscow) – Western Military District;
• 28^th anti-aircraft missile brigade (Chebarcul, Chelyabinsk region) – Central Military District.

This brigade is equipped with anti-aircraft missile systems S-300V;

• 31^st  Separate Guards Airborne Assault Brigade (Ulyanovsk) – Central Military District;
• 61^st air defense missile brigade (Biysk, Altai Territory) – Central Military District. На вооружении – ЗРК Бук-М1; In service – Buk-M1 air defense missile systems;
• 76^th Guards Airborne Assault Division (Pskov) – Western Military District.

Also, in cooperation with Irakli Komakhidze are identified:

In the border areas of the Russian Federation:

• Subdivisions of 32^nd Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Central Military District (military unit 22316, Shilovo, Novosibirsk region). These were also present in this area last year and relocated later to Matveyevo – Kurgan region.
• 29^th Separate Railway Repair Battalion of the Central Military District (military unit 30623, Omsk region, Tavrichesky district, st. Strela).
• 37^th Separate Railway Brigade of the Southern Military District (military unit 51473, Volgograd, Aviators St.)
• Near the village Kolesnikovka Kantemirovsky district of Voronezh region in Russia near the very border with Ukraine started the construction of the base field camp, carried out by Russian Army Logistical Support and Engineering Corps. Additional railroad is built by railway subdivisions of the Russian army.

Joint military exercises of marines and airborne units of the 7^th Guards Airborne Assault division (108 regiment) are observed in the area of military ground Opuk in the Crimea. Two large landing ships take part in the exercises, which are focused on conducting amphibious operations.

IR
