DMITRY TYMCHUK: 2 insurgent bases in Luhansk destroyed and convoy from Russia deterred last night

According to operational data from Information Resistance, last night in the counter-terrorism operation [ATO] zone, ATO aviation forces conducted a series of combat missions.

As a result of air strikes, 2 insurgent bases in Luhansk Oblast [region] were destroyed.

Also in cooperation with the border guards, an attempt to break through the state border from Russia into the territory of Ukraine by a convoy of mercenaries–in 10 trucks and 1 APC [armoured personnel carrier]–was prevented.

As a result of the air operations, the APC and 3 trucks with insurgents were destroyed–one of the trucks had installed on it a high-calibre NSV 12.7 “Utios” machine gun.

The remaining militants retreated in panic from the border into the territory of the Russian Federation.
