About us
“Information Resistance” (hereinafter “IR”) – is a non-governmental project that aims to counteract external threats to the informational space of Ukraine in the main areas of military, economic, and energy, as well as the sphere of informational security.
“IR” functions as an initiative of the NGO “Center for Military and Political Studies,” located in Kyiv. “IR” was launched on March 2, 2014 (the day of the Russian intrusion into Crimea).
Coordinators of IR
Dmitry Tymchuk – reserve officer, director of the NGO “Center for Military and Political Studies;”
Yuriy Karin – reserve officer, mass media manager;
Oleksandr “Hall” – reserve officer, manager (we cannot currently disclose his real name);
Pavlo Kucher – PR consultant, expert in effective communications.
On operational data
The incoming information is verified by a minimum of two independent sources, and more often, by three. If the information is highly controversial, we refer to witnesses and participants in the events. Behind every post and report lies the work of many people.
We use the information provided not just by our own sources, but by outside sources as well. If we receive new information we are unaware of, we apply our verification algorithm.
Only verified/proven facts become available to the public.
On analytics
“IR” provides analytical materials prepared by its own experts (Center for Military and Political Studies), as well as Ukrainian and foreign experts from non-governmental and government agencies, as well as international organizations, invited to cooperate.
